Now here’s one for the beat nerds and soul lovers a like. You could easily compare Brittany Boscos quirky production layered with strange harmonies and smooth soulful vocals with the likes of Georgia Anne Muldrow, Janelle Monae etc.. but Ms. Bosco is definintely bringing something unique to the table. Her EP ‘Spectrum’ has been getting a lot of rotation at the someniceshit HQ.

The Spectrum EP is a gem in the sea of mediocre releases that are getting “blog hype” right now. Mixing Blues, jazz, boom bap with electronica she delivers a a very solid effort and is most definitely one to look out for. I’ve included a few of my favourite jams off for your listening pleasure.

Blue is my fav. of the two; she should stick with that style.

As for the first song, a lot ladies out there are singing like this– getting boring: Musinah, Georgia M, Janelle M and so on and so on
